just to put the stats on the second page for everyone...
We all know the Cell is a great processor for floating point calculations.
But that doesnt mean its mega great for all gaming tasks, only certain aspects - so the cell advantage only boils down to 'certain' instances.
But that figure is still v.impressive
edit... and one of those PS3's is mine. It's been running for a couple of hours now :)

Can anyone help me with two questions:
1) Has the software update feature for Firefox ever work in identifying that there is a new version of FF itself out? I get updates to themes and extensions, but never FF. PR didn't find 1.0 when I clicked the prefs check for updates, and 1.0 didn't find 1.0.1, and now 1.0.1 didn't find 1.0.2. In the previous two cases, this was true even a couple weeks after the release of the new version (months for a lab PC using PR 0.8 that I hadn't been using for a while). So I figure that for some reason, the feature just doesn't work for me, in spite of the fact that there is an option checked right there, to look for FF updates.
2) Since search plug-ins are stored inside the contents of Firefox, what do people do in order to avoid having to re-install all their search plug-ins? Archive the directory and restore it? Or is there an easier way?
1) I don't believe so.
2) I just uninstall and reinstall the new version of Firefox. I haven't noticed that I lose anything, bookmarks, extensions, or plugins.
Oh, and I'm on a Windows :mad: machine. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I'm a friend of rtdgoldfish, we hang out and shoot the crap and play games. I don't think the area we live in has wifi stealing laws, but you never know until someone gets arrested for it. But since he doesn't run a business or have any confidential information on his computer that i know about, i doubt that there will be any thing the police here can do about it.
He's a pretty nice guy and I was surprised when he called me late one night to tell me what happened, he lives in a pretty tranquil place. the funny thing about this is that it seems like he's been doing the whole investigation while he police just sit around and wait for his information. I hope he gets his stuff back though.

After updating my iMac 2.0GHz CD 2GB RAM 256MB GFX to 10.4.9, The Sims 2 now has corrupted graphics.
While viewing towns (all towns), terrain appears red. Then ingame (while controlling your sim) it is very dark and slow.
Could this be from the new Radeon drivers?
Town browser now appears as:

lol :D , I've always felt that the ugly one was KDE :eek: But then again, all Linux desktops are butt-ugly (without proper themeing, that is). I think Linux distros should ban programmers from all UI design tasks, they should recruit proper designers instead...
I disagree. That's the problem with you Mac users. Looks and OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH THE SAVE DIALOG MOVES DOWN FROM THE WINDOW are all that counts. Sorry, die-hard Linux user here. May still make the switch, though. :rolleyes:

I hear everyone refering to the current case as the El Capitan. Wasn't it originally the Yosemite? Or was Yosemite just the code name for the B/WG3?

This happened to me once about a year and a half ago. It took several days but the points finally posted.

starting a new thread to help troubleshoot and setup f@h clients. mac and/or pc. connections, router/firewall settings, proxy settings, and the rest.
hopefully we can get the client connected, and mabey our notes will help someone else down the road.

It tends to be pretty random. The higher point ones take longer to do. It balances out in the end. Some say you can change your settings to get different WUs.

What I can't understand is why you would actually encode something into RealMedia format. Especially for the Mac, as RealPlayer for Mac has never been that great. I don't even have it installed on my machine, and if a website requires it, I simply don't bother visiting. If I really care, I might send them an E-mail suggesting that they use a better format.
