I hope Apple doesn't attempt to steal it. I'd be happy if they bought them out and integrated it with Tiger. The iSight/barcode reader thing is awesome.

And, the iSight reader thing was done by Booxter well before Delicious Library (and maybe booxter weren't even the first - I don't know). Do you consider this theft also? (I don't)

Its a distributed computing out of the University of Stanford. It uses your spare CPU to simulate proteins folding. And when you complete work units(WU) you get points for your user ID and your team. But first and for most it helps research. Points are just a perk. :D

3. A Google web browser - It will have dierct access to all of google's services.Perfectly possible, and could be fantastic. There was an article last year about how Google are putting a hell of a lot of effort in to more human translations. Meaning making translations not simple word for word translations as they are now, but actually intelligent enough to be able to re-phrase things when a simple word for word translation isn't enough. It sounded incredible. It was talked about how the technology could be embedded so that you didn't even know the translation was going on. You would Google for information, be taken to a Chinese coded website and never even know it. It could also be embedded in to Google Talk etc, you could talk to people from all over the globe in your native language, and them in theirs, but as far as you're concerned they're talking to you in your language. HUGE potential.

Exactly, but just executed so poorly. They have to understand that people will not use a flawed item, no matter how great the ideal situation is.
I think that is what makes Apple gain so much interest from outside parties. Not because they are the industry leader, but because they understand the industries needs (and get it right).

It is wrong? How so? If I burn a track for my wedding video, yes, I'm technically breakeing the law, but there is nothing immoral about doing that. No one is losing out on any money. No one is being hurt. He isn't stealing anything. He's breaking a copyright law that makes no sense in that case.

They were removed from beside each poster in a thread when a great deal of immaturity was displayed on the forums by many of the registered members, in regard to this status, that status, "I only have this many posts left to ###, let me spam my way..." It was chaos.
We also had that ************* troll Hitormiss on the boards for a day before he was removed. And we had samdweck for a few escalades as well. Amazing he got away with over 240 posts in three days before he got his rear end kicked out the door and have the lock shut and bolted. :rolleyes:
